Your 2012 Calendar: To plan or not to plan?

by Lauren Sheehan on January 2, 2012

Are you a planner or a “planning things makes me feel limited” kind of person? I usually tend toward the latter.  Even the word “plan” makes my stomach curl up a bit. I’m more of a “feel it out as I go” woman. For me in my business, it’s been a long journey in learning how to make plans on my calendar, set a schedule, and be more strategic about my business. It’s so beneficial to have some sort of plan so that you know where you are going, you have a clear direction. Since I’ve gotten a bit better with my planning, I’ve been seeing the rewards in my bank account :) Yay!

HOWEVER, there are many situations when planning can be detrimental. Planning too much when you are not so clear about your business or your offerings might be a big waste of time ( at least it was for me… I talk more about this in the video)

Watch this week’s video lesson and learn when it’s good to have your whole year planned out and when to just throw caution to the wind and get out there even without a plan.

This week’s Badass Business Chick lesson is all about

  • Why planning too much can be a waste of your time and energy
  • What TWO important things you can plan on a calendar that will help your business no matter how advanced you are
  • How to make planning more effective and less of an energy drain
  • Why those TWO important things will help you make more money

If you love this lesson, remember to share this post with all your favorite Badass Business Chicks ( or badass chicks thinking about starting a business) on your favorite social media and leave me a comment!
